Project 01 · Renovation

Tropical villa — complete restoration of an existing timber deck

The existing deck had heavily greyed under sun, humidity and sea air. Several boards were warped. The aim was to retain the sound structure while restoring a clean and consistent finish.

✓Removal and replacement of boards that were too damaged.
✓Adjustment of fixings and uneven boards.
✓Deep cleaning, de-greying and finish sanding.

The deck regains a warm, even appearance without the cost and waste of a complete rebuild.

Project 02 · New installation

North Mauritius villa — large new deck built into the garden

The house already had a beautiful tropical garden, but the outdoor area was underused. The project extended the living room into the garden with a large timber terrace.

Project 03 · Hotel — real project

Beachfront hotel — creation of a timber deck around the pool

A real project completed in Mauritius: the creation of a bespoke timber deck in a hotel environment, around the pool and between the existing palm trees. The goal was to improve circulation, create a more premium finish and integrate the deck naturally into the tropical setting.

Result

This project transforms the poolside space into a high-end relaxation area. The deck integrates between the palm trees, softens the surrounding mineral surfaces and gives the hotel a warmer, more refined atmosphere.
